Description
The SJK Smooth Flow Backdraft Damper is designed to prevent the problem of backdraft, where air returns through the system causing unwanted air escaping from rangehoods and household vents. It also protects against the potential problem of motor burnout due to the fan being turned on while it rotates backward at speed due to backdraft. Compared to conventional spring loaded backdraft dampers, the SJK has superior performance characteristics due to its unique design that provides minimal resistance to air flow. The flap closes when the fan is off.
